Organisation

The ITS archives are divided into three main sections:

» Incarceration

» Forced Labour

» Displaced Persons

In addition to this there are smaller sections associated with the work of a tracing service:

» Central Name Index

» Child Tracing Branch

The ITS also keeps correspondence files (T/D cases) containing incoming and outgoing correspondence with victims of Nazi persecution, family members and governmental organisations. This correspondence has also been made available for historical research, provided the written correspondence is more than 25 years old.
