Copies of ITS Records and Confirmation Reports

The International Tracing Service provides information about Germans and non-Germans who were detained in Nazi concentration or work camps or other detention sites, and about non-Germans deployed as forced labourers on Third Reich territory during World War II.

The confirmation reports can be used, for example, to apply for pensions or compensation and as statements of the fate of individuals. Currently, incoming inquiries are processed within 8 weeks. Information provided by the ITS is considered legally binding.

Relatives and victims also have the option of receiving copies of original documents stored in Bad Arolsen.
