Personal access to the archives

If the International Tracing Service holds records about you or members of your family, you can visit the archives in person.

After checking your inquiry, we will let you know if our archives hold information pertaining to you or members of your family, and also the nature of the information.

If such information is available, you can make an appointment to visit Bad Arolsen, either by phone (Tel.  +49 (0)5691 629-145), or by submitting an

» Online request for visitors.

The ITS is, of course, happy to offer you a tour of the archives. You will find further details and the online request form on the Service pages of this website in the

» Visitors section.

Make your tracing request online!

Effective immediately, you can fill out a tracing request online and send it to us from our website, or you can download the form and send it to us by post.
