Arriving at Bad Arolsen

Directions: ITS in Bad Arolsen

 

By train

To the station Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe (ICE/IC). From there with a regional train to Bad Arolsen.

By car from the West

If you come here from the Dortmund direction, take the A44 into the Kassel direction up to the Diemelstadt exit, then continue your journey using the B252 to Bad Arolsen (ca. 10 km). Having arrived at Bad Arolsen, orient yourself by the residential castle, which is in the immediate vicinity of the International Tracing Service (ITS). 

By car from the North

From the Bremen, Münster direction take the A1 up to “Kreuz Dortmund-Unna”, then continue on the A7 into the Hamburg, Hanover, Kassel direction, in Kassel take the A44 into the Dortmund direction and leave at Zierenberg exit, continue on the B251 into the Korbach direction and change again to the B450 to Bad Arolsen (ca. 20 km).

By car from the South

From the Frankfurt direction go to Gießen up to “Kreuz Gießen-Süd”, then continue on the “Gießener Ring“ into the Marburg direction, if you have passed the town of Cölbe, take the B252 via Frankenberg to Korbach, and further on to Bad Arolsen. 

By car from the East

From the Berlin/Magdeburg direction: on the A2 into the Hanover direction, continue with the A7 into the Kassel direction, change to A44 at “Kasseler Kreuz” into the Dortmund direction, leave at Zierenberg exit, then take the B251 into the Korbach direction and continue on the B450 to Bad Arolsen (ca. 20 km).
From the Dresden/Chemnitz direction: take the A4 into the Frankfurt direction, change to A7 at “Kirchheimer Dreieck“ into the Kassel direction, change again to the A44 at  “Kasseler Kreuz“ into the Dortmund direction, leave at Zierenberg exit, then take the B251 into the Korbach direction and continue on the B450 to Bad Arolsen (ca. 20 km).
