International Tracing Service

Visitors to the ITS

Visitors to the International Tracing Service are invited to a Power Point presentation which offers an introduction into the tasks and history of the institution, the archival collections and individual fates. For organizational reasons, you are kindly requested to give notice of your visit in advance:

» Online form for visitors

Survivors of Nazi persecution and relatives of victims can take a look into the original documents. Prior to a visit to ITS, an » inquiry should be filed, and an appointment should be scheduled. This allows the archive staff to check the database in advance and prepare the specific documents for the visit.

Researchers visiting the ITS may fill out an » application form. They can use the digital database in the » reading room during the opening hours. If, in rare cases, the documents are not available in the electronic archive, the originals may be consulted.
