To edit the online publication of our archival holdings, the International Tracing Service (ITS) is looking for an
Online Archive Editor (m/f)
to support us in our public relations activities.
In close cooperation with the directorate and the online manager, you will be responsible for the editorial supervision of the ITS’s online archive portals. In the coordination of user feedback, you will work closely with the various specialized departments as well as with colleagues based nationally and internationally.
You will moreover generate the contents of the ITS’s online presence, edit texts describing the archival holdings, moderate communication with users, and closely monitor the user-friendliness of the online presence.
Your way to the ITS
You are creative, reliable and have an innovative mindset. With your degree in the area of journalism, media studies and/or the humanities, you have already gained experience in the area of editing / content management. You have a strong interest in online communication and the social media, a good sense of language and the ability to express yourself well in writing. Your qualifications moreover include a high degree of user-orientation and an excellent understanding of the target groups.
The ITS is devoted to documenting National Socialist persecution and the consequences of the crimes against humanity. You should be interested in these topics and in working with them on an in-depth level.
Excellent German and English language skills - written and oral - are mandatory.

Salary is based on the collective wage agreements for the employees of the stationing forces (TV AL II) *), salary bracket C-7.
