Visitors are warmly invited to come to the ITS in Bad Arolsen. In order to help us better arrange and plan for your visit, please contact us beforehand.

    Monday to Thursday: 08.00 - 17.00
    Friday: 08.00 - 13.00

  • How to get to the ITS

    By train
    To Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe (ICE/IC) station. From there with a regional train to Bad Arolsen.

    By car from the west
    From the direction of Dortmund via the A44 towards Kassel until the Diemelstadt exit, then via the B252 to Bad Arolsen (approx. 15 km).

    By car from the north
    From the direction of Bremen, Münster A1 to “Kreuz Dortmund–Unna”, then towards Hamburg, Hannover, Kassel via the A7 on the A44 towards Dortmund until the Zierenberg exit, then via the B251 towards Korbach, continue on the B450 to Bad Arolsen (approx. 20 km).

    By car from the south
    From the direction of Frankfurt head towards Gießen until “Kreuz Gießen-Süd”, continue on via “Gießener Ring” towards Marburg, after Cölbe continue on the B252 via Frankenberg towards Korbach, continue on via the B252 to Bad Arolsen.

    By car from the east
    From the direction of Berlin/Magdeburg: via the A2 towards Hannover, then on the A7 towards Kassel, at “Kasseler Kreuz” on the A44 towards Dortmund until the Zierenberg exit, continue via the B251 towards Korbach, then on the B450 to Bad Arolsen (approx. 20 km).

    From the direction Dresden/Chemnitz: via the A4 towards Frankfurt, at “Kirchheimer Dreieck” onto the A7 towards Kassel, at “Kasseler Kreuz” onto the A44 towards Dortmund until the Zierenberg exit, then via the B251towards Korbach, then continue on the B450 to Bad Arolsen (approx. 20 km).
