Chair of the International Commission visited ITS
Andrzej Misztal, current Chair of the International Commission of the International Tracing Service (ITS), has visited the ITS in Bad Arolsen accompanied by Michal Drozniewski today. During the talks with ITS Director Professor Dr Rebecca Boehling and members of the management current subjects of the ITS, for example, state of the consultation process for a new ITS archive building, discussed and initial preparations for the annual meeting of the International Commission were taken in June 2014 in Warsaw.
The eleven Member States (Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Great Britain, USA) existing International Commission sets the guidelines for the work of the ITS. Poland assumed chairmanship during the 2013 annual meeting of the International Commission.
